When we announced our integration with Descartes MyCarrierPortal (MCP) earlier this year, we introduced a new way to bring GenLogs last seen intelligence directly into MCP's carrier vetting workflow. Today, we're expanding that partnership to help brokers and shippers move faster, vet smarter, and better protect their networks from fraud and carrier identity risk.

Mutual customers can leverage MCP-approved carrier network data directly within the GenLogs platform. When reviewing carrier recommendations, users can quickly identify carriers that have already been onboarded and approved within their existing network. This streamlines capacity sourcing and helps teams make faster decisions with greater confidence.
MCP Risk Assessments and GenLogs Compliance Intelligence, Together
MCP risk assessment results can now be viewed alongside GenLogs compliance insights, providing a more complete picture of carrier qualification and real-world operational activity in a single workflow.
Instead of navigating between multiple platforms, users can access the information they need to evaluate carrier risk and make informed decisions more efficiently.

Coming soon, GenLogs and MCP will bring GenLogs compliance standards directly into MCP’s risk assessment process, giving organizations the ability to align carrier qualification requirements with their own risk tolerance.
You’ll have the ability to match your GenLogs status within your MCP risk assessment. For example, if your GenLogs compliance settings has it set where if a carrier has not been seen within a timeframe, MCP will surface your warning signals based on your overall compliance rules.
This will help automate processes that often require manual review while supporting more consistent application of carrier qualification standards across the network.

Freight fraud continues to evolve. Chameleon carriers, sold MCs, and dormant carrier identities create ongoing risk for brokers and shippers, particularly when carrier networks were established months or years ago.
A carrier that was legitimate when it was onboarded may no longer meet the same standards today. For example, if your GenLogs compliance rules include the “Observed by GenLogs” requirement, a carrier that hasn’t been seen by GenLogs cameras within the last 90 days could automatically move into a review status. That status can then flow into MyCarrierPortal’s risk assessment, triggering a new review alert for further evaluation. This helps identify carriers that may have become dormant or no longer meet your organization’s compliance standards, so potential concerns can be investigated before freight is assigned.
The result is stronger protection against fraud and carrier identity risk without adding additional work for frontline teams.
